Community • Business • Experience
Guided by individualism and opportunity for all, I have worked to build strong communities, drive business growth and addressed social issues that matter.
I believe strong communities are the foundation of a prosperous economy and cohesive society. Through my work on Woollahra Council and Executive Director of the Cities Leadership Institute, I have led the revitalisation of precincts, places and populations. Working across three levels of government and the private sector I have facilitated improvements in public spaces, shifted the economic employment base and shaped how technology and innovation can be used to improve the liveability or communities across the country.
Over thirty years I have developed and delivered corporate strategies to grow businesses, create products and enter new markets. I have Chaired superannuation funds and been a Board Director driving improved investment returns. I have established my own small business securing growth for clients and as Chair of the Chamber of Commerce, I have worked to reduce red tape, unfair taxes and energy costs and create a level playing field to enable small business to thrive.
I have been at the forefront of significant Liberal achievements that have advanced economic outcomes and strengthened the social fabric of Australia creating opportunity for all Australians. During my successful career as an executive in the banking and finance industry and government adviser, I have been at the forefront of major infrastructure developments, tax reform, public-private partnerships and asset sales and acquisitions. I have a strong record balancing and negotiating commercial outcomes with public benefits.
“She is the authentic local candidate and she has worked in both the private sector and three tiers of government. She is an independent thinker and not afraid to ask the right questions when necessary. I am confident that if pre-selected she will be an outstanding candidate and Liberal member”
